Here's a couple of shots of Capt. James McCall's Mounted unit that fought with William Washington at Cowpens. The figures are the excellent Eureka mounted militia, with a couple of others thrown in. McCall is one of the unsung heroes of the AWI and he and his men fought all over the South. These are just a few of my McCall's unit, as I have lots more to show off when they are finshed.

I have pictures of the finished 3 rd Continental Cavalry to post tomorrow or the next day. I'm starting on the British Legion tomorrow and should finish a 36 horse troop later in the week.

As for ground work…I try to represent what is really in the fields where battles were fought.. Not green grass, but weeds, clovers, ivy, roots, flowers and all sorts of clumps of growing stuff with lots of rocks and debris all around.
Not pool table green felt.
