Pat, I've noticed any metro area is lost pretty much within 48 hours.

But I wonder, are these Zeds shamblers or running ragers?

setting speed to 1
seattle wa to nyc (about 2400 miles)
took about 400 hours
that is about 6 mph

setting speed to 100
norfolk va to nyc (about 400 miles)
took about 100 hours
that would be about 4 mph

although this would be propagation rate
not actual movement rate
but I feel that is more on the order of
walkers not runners
but certainly not shamblers

Speed one (1) mile in sixteen minute, the average speed a person can walk a mile.

Results Not Good
96 hours most of the east coast is gone, Northern California still holding out.

The Rocky Mountain still in tack.

260 hours (9 days) Eastren time zone, Central time zome, Pacific time zone, All gone.
