Very nice. I have some real rock slabs that look great but are too heavy to move to another gaming location. I will try to track down a source for these plaster bandages here in Japan. Thanks much!

You can always make your own version from old fabric scraps and filler. Model railroaders were doing it for years before ModRoc came along.
l remember Peter Gilder having some pieces of old corduroy soaked in plaster at WHC, best looking 25mm scale ploughed fields ever!

Open weave bandages and a dish of plaster made a bit less pourable than you would for casting. Dip bandage strips in the plaster and carefully drape them over the former. Every few strips use fingers to work the plaster into the surface, adding more if needed.

You have to work fast and it is messy but works fine.

Gorgeous piece, as always. Will have to look up the video, as I have a roll of plaster bandages I picked up last year, but haven't used it yet. Cheers!

Thanks. I have the same material and use it for very small rises in the ground, putting that kids fun foam down first and then the plaster bandage on top – it just gives nice undulations.

Cheers guys :-)
