Another OHW scenario. This time I used a set from the book I hadn't used yet and played a WW1 game with the Machine Age rules. link It features the return of my hair-roller WW1 armies. |

Very interested to see your changes on firepower and casualty levels (5). After a few plays it would be interesting to see how you feel this compares with the rules as written. |

As an introductory set the rules work fine. As they do for a quick game when time is limited. I have played a few ancient period games and it is the additional rules like you have added, that make it more interesting to game. Good post, I enjoyed the read. |

Wow, I haven't seen hair roller armies in a long time! They look very nice, I always thought the cavalry looked the weakest – but that's not such a problem in WWI. |

Hair roller armies – that's a blast from the past! Nice AAR and review. |

Hi Kaptain Kobold, Your blog is very interesting. I have a question about OHW book: what is the level of the rules (skirmish, palatoon, company, etc.) and the related basing-system. In partiucular I'm interested in WWII rules. Thanks Roby |
