I've been trying to find out what soft skinned vehicles the French would have used in Indochina, but with a surprising lack of success.

I know they used GMC 2.5 ton lorries fitted with armour plating and 40mm Bofors AA guns as support weapons for their infantry, but that's not really what I'm after.

Did they actually use soft skins during the FIW to move goods, supplies and maybe even men, or did they totally rely on armoured transport?

I'd honestly expect that unarmored transport would be the overwhelming majority of the transports.

Initially anything that worked: pre war French, British, UsJapanese left over.
Then overwhelmingly US from military assistance. Dodges 4x4 and6x6 jeeps.
