Now I had not come across this site before, but I was hunting down pictures of Gendarmes d'Elite (no change there, then) and found this. The link will take you to the finest outfit of the Napoleonic Era of course, but track back and see what else there is there! I expect it has been mentioned here before, apologies if so, but I was impressed link |
