Like a lot of people on TMP, I like to go beyond the "official" minis for a game and add my own bits to customize. In that vein, I found a couple of plastic model kits that fit nicely with my Ogre miniatures. There's the armored boat for coastal defense:

Good call on the Bronekater! The OGRE Book:

Nice finds!
I have all of the 1/300 Old Crow futuristic naval minis (highly recommended); I hope he comes back "online" soon.
There are also literally thousands of 1/350 and 1/400 naval and aviation model kits out there. They tend to be pricier than their wargaming counterparts, but the variety can't be beat. |

Thanks, cloudcaptain. I had seen those articles, and the one on BPC subs was an influence on my rules. Also, I use the counters rules with the minis on a hex mat with four-inch hexes, so conversions aren't a problem. Thanks, jpattern. I was also inspired by some photos of an Ogre D-Day game at a convention that used some OC landing craft minis:
