Gattamalata, Gorgon is 16mm and Aventine is 15mm, almost indistinguishable. The Gorgon hoplon also appears a bit more raised…though not by much. Lastly, the Aventine shield is nicely detailed on the underside while the Gorgon is more plain but with useful grooves for attaching to the arm of figures. I am a bit of a stickler on these things and I would not hesitate to use them together if needed.
