Hi guys,

my CinC order finally arrived (I've been waiting impatiently!) and decided that the best place to start with a test model is my favourite ship…hmm…

Anyway, here are a few quick pics before varnishing and placing the name tag on the base. What do you think?

Are you sure of the corticene surface? I find it most difficult to find out which part are painted/ metal and which are "wooden"… except on the US with their painted decks…

No Warspite as of yet, got two R Class battleships to paint that are almost as nice!

As for the surfaces, there are lots of photos of British ships between the wars and at this early stage (I plan to game Norway what ifs mostly) they are still in pre-war colours.
