Looks good, does anyone make the Panzer 35t in 1/72nd scale?

Green Tiger24 Feb 2015 12:45 a.m. PST

I believe Esci did one and Attack models do one…

Friend & Foe do a 35t too…

Green Tiger: indeed, I just built one of the many Attack Model Pz38 variants. Quite hard work, it was, but also quite fun and satisfying. Will be blogging the build soon, and will post links & images here.

Catman: I'd like to see pics of these PSC versions – I mean pics of the models, as opposed to the box cover art (which looks very nice!).

Just built the first one – the later Marder. It goes together like a dream, with very positive placement. It is hard to get wrong. Seems fine next to my old Esci one, just a little bitt thicker profiles and a little bit less add on detail. Actual detail on the plastic is excellent, really bringing out the riveted construction of the original.

Got mine todayand just built the first three. A little disappointed at having to drill out the muzzles but that's no big deal.

The right hull side on the sdkfz 139 version will not go on because of the box on the right fender; the only way to remedy this was to shave off the shovel blade, but this doesn't show when the model is complete anyway and that will go in the spares box. So will the crew figures as they all wear the panzer wrap and late war field cap (apart from one officer/NCO type). What is the deal with that dude with the extra long arm anyway? Some nice variations there for tank commanders….

The rest of the kit does go together extremely well and produce a sturdy model for gaming. I'm particularly impressed by the way the gun mount assembly is done: simple, strong and pretty much 'junior wargamer' proof :)

Nice looking models – definitely another winner from PSC!

forgot to mention the muzzle drilling – it makes a real difference
