Hey all!
Well, what I would consider the first horse-and-musket war-game has come out for the iPad, FINALLY! And it is a good one! Come on by the blog for a quick review! link |

Well, looks like I'm out in the cold, being an Android user and one who does not do Stream for the PC. :-( |

YES! This a cool game. I had a little difficulty figuring out how to get my artillery to fire. Finally got that figured out though. My wife started laughing at me "Well, I know what you'll be doing for the rest of the day", flew outta her mouth. I like this game. |

Yeah, its OK. I got it a while ago on Steam. Sometimes your brigades do frustrating things. But then again, that happened in real life! The campaign play reminds me of Sid Meier's Gettysburg/Antietam in that where you leave off on a scenario determines the setup of the next. Which is cool. |

I believe they ironed all the quirks out of it since its launch. |

I tried getting it on steam. I could not. I despise steam. Ah well I still got Age of Rifles (the best horse and rifle wargame) |

Just bought it. I like it. AI is not a moron, you have to think about what you do. |

Looks great – will have to have a look in the store later for this. |

Well, looks like I'm out in the cold, being an Android user and one who does not do Stream for the PC. :-( I thought one of the places alluded to an Andoid version. Maybe it is not complete yet? |

Try Hunted Cow for additional games for the iPhone and iPad. huntedcow.com Seeing the descriptions of its games on webgronard has tempted me to get into the Apple side of life. |

Okay. Have the game. Can someone tell me how do you get artillery to fire?, |

Yes, how do you get artillery to fire? |

Just click on a target. Make sure it is not limbered. If the limber button is lit up, it is limbered and cannot shoot. |

Spent quite a bit of time playing this on PC (don't have an ipad) and it's good fun, but the line of sight mechanics ruin it a bit. It's a pain determining when artillery can make a shot or not as there's very little visual feedback to show this. Still good fun though if you can get it for cheap. |

no longer. I read that Apple dropped all ACW games in order to maintain their political correctness! |

grr… I saw Lord Ashram's review by chance today and it was too late.. I wanted a horse and musket game for ipad along the lines of the very old napoleonic field of glory … So sad that some idiot ( apple exec looking at you ) comes up with this :( , I swear I'm not racist.. I just want to play a wargame on ipad … snif…. On the other hand it looks like the game is doing fantastic on Steam for PC as a result of this… Ok.. I hope this will change and I can get it on ipad again at some point… Francisco |

JPKelly – I'm not sure where your searching but I did a quick browse of the AppStore on my iPad and came up with several games. Some free some not. Either your search entry was spelled wrong when you searched the Apple AppStore or your repeating someone's B.S. that you heard without verifying. |

Just bought it for my iPad off the Apple Apps store. No problem at all. |

Is there any chance that Kindle fire uses can get this game? |
