Trying to decide on a painting service. I've used Philgreg in the distant past but wondered who people are using these days. Are there any new players? |

Hundreds. I've used Evil Bob, Pictor's, RLBPS, Dragon, various TMPers. What are you looking for exactly? |

Good. Cheap. Doesn't have to be fast. :-) |

Used both…great service. I'd put Fernando a little ahead because. Of individually wrapped figures and he provides a samples picture of your figure before he completes the order so you can confirm the Colorado. |

I'm getting my first order from Philgreg back next week. From the pictures he sent, they painted the mini's exactly as the pictures I sent. I will let you know how I like them when I actually have them in hand. Over a hundred mini's, with 12 cavalry, painted for around $3 USD each including shipping (I went with a mix of collector and gamer quality). |

I've used both and have nothing but good things to say about them. Excellent service in each case. |

Both are great, as is DPS out of Hong Kong. |

It is shipping….. I was shocked with the astronomical shipping charges to Sri Lanka. |

Can you choose the style of painting with any of these services? For example the Dallimore three-color method vs the Army Painter dip method? |

I have used Fernando for my big orders, so far been very pleased always good fast service no problems except with the post office not wanting to ship lead. I use CGR for my individual figs..Old West and Gladiators. Great work and turnaround. I am going to give Phil my next order of Battletech. |

Dave, go to their websites, see their samples, that is how they paint. If you are after a specific style, you are more likely to need to use a local person who understands what you are talking about (and will charge accordingly). The Sri Lankans are a factory, and like all factories, the least variety the better performance. Recommend them both by the way. |

Our amazing patrons are what we are most proud of…they are not only our patrons…they are our envoys…we are so proud to receive compliments and we also welcome negative feedback. Thank you to all who contributed above. |

Philip, I've used your service almost exclusively in years past. Been a few years (working overseas, etc) since I sent any figures, and I've accumulated quite a pile to send your way. I can't account for Fernando, but I've seen his work and they too were excellent. Since I discovered PHILGREG all those years ago, I never shopped around again. I always appreciated the communication between us, the fair pricing and quality. I only vaguely recall one issue which you put to rest asap. The response did not deter me from coming back. Brace yourself for more lead headed you way…. For TMP members, Philgreg gets my endorsement. First choice….. Paul Houston, Texas |
