My old friend and I got my minifigs out for a fight…their first in 11 years. Rules test using my Featherstone-like rules. You can find a report here. link |

Thanks John, I like the differences in the cavalry. The game seems to give a lot of intense action for relatively small forces. |

The game seems to give a lot of intense action for relatively small forces. My only gripe about Don's rules were that they could be extremely bloody. Cutting back slightly helps a lot. Close range and canister can be quite deadly. Looking forward to seeing your take on Dons rules We move at kind of a glacial pace. We added a bit of chrome this first round. Probably won't get a second game in until after Cold Wars in March. If we don't have many edits, I'll post them then. |

I too am looking foward to you posting the rules. I wonder how it would play for big battles? |

I wonder how it would play for big battles? I would think pretty well. It is a fairly "markerless" system. The only thing is with a lot of units on the board, you may need to mark somehow who has been hit last turn and who hasn't. Turning the command stand 90 degrees does work pretty well for this. Also, trying to figure out the penalty for each 20% lost last turn needs to be tracked. |
