Picked up a collection of Old Glory Caesar's Gallic Wars 25mm Romans the other day but while I can identify almost of the them the following two bags have me flummoxed – they aren't part of the CGW line. Can anyone tell me which sets they are from? Bag 1 contains infantry:
Bag 2 contains cavalry:
All help appreciated! I think they are probably meant to represent auxiliaries (the infantry at least) but they don't look right to me. |

Those are Gripping Beast figures, Republican Roman infantry with couple of Spanish footmen and what looks like Spanish cavalry. You can use infantry for hastily raised legions using older equipment and definitely Spanish as auxiliary cavalry. |

Those horses are definitely Gripping Beast, the thick tails are a give away. Most of the infantry are also "GB". IGWARG1 is correct! |

Yes, they're Punic Wars era figures. |

Gripping Beast? I would never have guessed that lol, the person I got them from was himself told they were OG. No wonder I couldn't find them on the OG site! Lol |

Is it possible that the top row of horses are early MiniFigs The rectangular base and "wide rump" are similar to some MiniFig horses that I have. Do they have a model number stamped on the underside of the base ? |

The horses are definitely Gripping Beast, I have those poses. |
