Cheers!
I'll see what I can do about a starter scenario. Let me know if the answers below helps.
*Do droids get pinned?
Droids do get pinned. (they have some self-preservation built in and I suppose they can get physically knocked about)
*Do droids have a leader that activates the group?
They do, mostly for game purposes. I imagine it's the droid that is connected to the higher command levels.
*Do PA troops have a leader that activates the group?
Negative. Each PA trooper is an independent figure altogether.
Now, if you are fielding several of them, you could make one of them a PA "platoon" leader if you wanted.
*Can you give an example of counting pins, casualties and wounded for pressure?
Sure.
Example 1: No untreated wounded. An enemy shoots at me and pins 2 figures, wounds 1.
Pressure is 3. Roll a 4 or more to avoid fallingback.
Example 2:
Same squad again. They have one untreated wounded. Enemy shoots and scores no pins or wounds.
Pressure is 1 (0 pins rolled, 0 hits, 1 untreated wounded)
*Are wounded and casualties considered 2 different concepts?
Wounded that have not yet been treated contribute towards Pressure for morale tests.
*Can you explain the Firing Across Terrain section?
Sure. Put a wall on the table, about waist height.
Put a few soldiers on each side.
If either side has soldiers within 3" of the obstacle, both sides can shoot at each other.
If we're both more than 3" apart, we cannot.
*Can you give an example of, "Troops moving within 1" of a terrain feature for their entire move may elect to move at the 3" movement rate and avoid reaction fire."
Sure. If you have, say, a ruined building, a figure that is outside the feature but stays within 1" of it for their entire move can move at the 3" rate without rolling to rush (or taking reaction shots).
Essentially, it lets troops skulk around terrain features.
*Do woods provide a cover save?
They do not, though I have started that the actual tree models do (I use a tree template with a few actual trees on it).
I figure a few of the trees are big, old ones that can withstand quite a bit of fire.
