Does anyone know of any other manufacturers who produce early Brits?

I've found Zvedza do for the Art of Tactic game but at five figures for about £3.00 GBP it's not the best way to buy a large number.

Nope, not as far as I know. I am hoping that Plastic Soldier Company will come up with some Brits (and French, Belgians, Dutch, Poles).

There are some lovely metals available for early war Brits (e.g. Early War Miniatures & Lancer Miniatures).

In metal FAA are the nicest but hard to get now in the UK. Blitz are also very good. With Battlegroup Blitzkrieg coming out hopefully PSC will bring out figures, which would be good so long as they are not like their US ones. Pegasus and Caesar do early war Germans and French but no sign of any early Brits I'm afraid

The latest Airfix set contains a handful of figures with the respirator on the chest.

Thanks for the tips guys. It's as I'd thought.

Would be great if PSC brought some out, but it's doubtful it will be soon given the long wait there's been for their late war Brit support weapons set.

Here are the links for those ranges for anyone who's interested – I'd go for Blitz I think if I went the metal route.

The Zvezda set (and some support sets too, I think) + customisations painted up.
