A freind of mine who lives in Dresden just discovered this small museum at nearby Maxen:

Among the items inside is a handsome diorama of the fighting resulting from "Der Finckenfang bei Maxen"

That museum is a nice find. I did not know that it existed.

Germany has many small unadvertised small museums like that; opened sometimes on week end, better check long before, and they often have no English.

This historical wargamer even had one change labels for a Russo-german legion infantryman, and swap others for carbines.
