In a recent post concerning the new PSC release of WWI Command and Colors someone remarked:

"Do not forget the SYW/AMRev version that is in the pipeline as well"

I have heard of this – can someone provide some more information on manufacturer? – timeline?

Last I heard from Mr. Berg he was still looking for a publisher. But I hope that has changed and now we're just "waiting."

If gamers attended the Orlando shows of Recon and Hurricon, they would have been able to play in the Syw and Amrev games. They were play testing a number of scenarios. Richards booth is always right next to my booth. So I have been able to watch the games played in 15 mm. Orinally these AmRev and SYW systems were separate . However iirc the publisher wanted them combined.
This past year since the 1700s system was finished, they mainly play tested the WW1 system at the shows.

I got to play test a game two years ago. The interesting thing that makes this version is the army command decks. You still have the regular command decks, but you also have country command cards that help to simulate the various strengths and weakness of a given country.

Played really well.
