The HMGS Cold War convention is rapidly approaching. The SAGA tournament is scheduled for Saturday 7 March. We will be in the tournament hall again and will have a total of 6 tables available for the event. If you plan to participate in the tournament please send me an email so I can be sure to accommodate you in the event. To play in the event you need to have a minimum of 4 points of one of the official SAGA or Crescent & Cross factions. Most players will have 6 points but if you only have 4 we can accommodate you and we will have loaner armies available for those who do not have an army. We are also having terrain constructed for the event with each table having its own theme. Here are the 6 themed tables.

English Harvest
The Trolls in Winter
Saracen Village
Desert Crusader Camp
Roman City of Ghosts
Scottish Highlands

Scenarios by round will be:
Round #1: Battle for the Hoard. New Scenario with pre-set terrain.

Round #2: Clash of warlords.

Round #3: Defend the Hoard. Modified Homeland Scenario

Tournament schedule is as follows:

Saturday March 7th

9:30am – 9:45 am Registration and Introduction

9:45 am – 11:15 am Game 1

11:15 am -12:00 pm Break/Lunch

12:00 pm – 1:30 pm Game 2

Does this mean you only have room for 12 players?

keegantdad15 Feb 2015 3:54 p.m. PST

Right now yes. But if enough people contact me and ask to enter I may be able to expand it.

Bowman15 Feb 2015 6:23 p.m. PST

Perfect, email sent.

Almost full. I have room for three more SAGA players. Send me an email if you want in. By the way Footsore Miniatures has offered a 4 point Irish Warband as prize support. Thank you Footsore!

How was the SAGA tournament?

Any pictures?

The SAGA event at Cold Wars was great. We had 12 players plus a few who jumped in for just a game or two and then jumped out, it was great fun. I posted pictures on the SAGA forum here.

FYI, there will be a SAGA tournament at Historicon. Check the Tournaments section of the H'con web page for details.

Enjoy the games. Hope to see you there.
