My latest project in tiny gaming, Heroquest in 6mm 8-) Ordered some really cool figures from Microworld , they should be arriving in a week or two. Meanwhile I finished the board
As usual it's fully magnetised. Lots of tiny tiles / fingers to superglue :P
Now it's on to the doors, furniture and traps… stay tuned for more ;-)

Wow, that's really something! Will be following your updates. How did you make this, any tutorial coming? :) |

That looks excellent! The growing popularity of microscale adventure/skirmish gaming intrigues and inspires me. It seems like such a fun, easygoing approach to the hobby. I have my own 6mm "almost Space Hulk" project that's currently in limbo. Might be time to revive it. |

That is pretty awesome. I might have to give this a go myself. We used to play Space Hulk with Epic minis on the little "master tiles" that you were suppose to use to determine board layouts. The squares were just right for individual Epic minis. |

@ 53Punisher Not really much there to make a tutorial about. I just cut the tiles out of a piece of magnetic paper, glued them on another piece of magnetic paper and painted it using sponges for the larger areas and a size 0 brush for the details. @ Rhoderic III and counting & HyperBunny There are already some nebulous ideas in the back of my mind for a 6mm Space Hulk, using some of those exelent mini's from Onslaught Miniatures maybe, so if you have any pictures please share. If I end up stealing anything I promise to give credit where due ;-) |

My project wouldn't be proper Space Hulk as such, but I'd be using Brigade Models power-armoured infantry and Dark Realm Skyth (seeing as I've already got them, having bought them long before Onslaught showed up), so the visual would be nearly the same. Then there's the possibility of swapping out the power-armoured humans for alien "good guys" like the Eldar-esque Dark Realm Andrayada or the Kraytonians from that same company, and likewise swapping out the Skyth/Tyranids for other "bad guys" like some sort of cultists or evil machines. No idea what rules to use yet, but it probably won't be Space Hulk. |

Managed to get quite a bit done this week, thought I'd give you all a little update So, 16 open doors 5 closed doors 6 secret doors
2 double square cave in tiles 8 one square cave in tiles 1 set of stairs 6 pit traps 1 wizard's work table 2 ordinary tables 3 treasure chests 12 skull tokens
and of course I couldn't resist playing around with them on the board ;-))
I also managed to clean, base and prime the minis which arrived from Microworld a few day's ago.
Well that's it for now

It's looking great. I'd love to see some photos of your painted figures when you get around to them. |

Cool idea, looking forward to how they come out. |

OK folks here's the minis with some paint slapped on ;) The heroes: The elf, mage, dwarf and barbarian
Followed by the villains, Everyones favourite badguys the Orcs
Their orange skinned partners in crime the Goblins
The undead: skeletons, zombies and, because I couldn't find any mummies, specters
For some serious Evil, the Warlock and his Chaos Knights
Alas no 6mm Fimirs to be found so I decided to go with a trio of Ogers
And another placeholder until I find a good Gargoyle figure, the Minotaur King
Thats it for now, next time more furniture. |

The life of a Dungeon Lord is so hard! Couldn't find anything fitting at the local IKEA so I made these instead. Bookcases and wardrobe
Torture and weaponrack
Altar and tomb
Due to a combination of making them fit a certain amount of squares on the board and this being my first time working with Milliput they turned out a bit to large, more like 10mm scale. Oh well, the original Heroquest pieces always looked a bit to large for the minis to me to so it doesn't really bother me. Still have to do the throne, fireplace and 4 falling block traps. Then I'll have to print me some cards and get a game on :)) |

Wow amazing stuff!!! I'm very tempted to try something similar. |

Well I finally got round to making the last few pieces. For your viewing pleasure, the fireplace, stone block traps(bronze plated for that extre Oomph!) and the chair.
And so now our heroes can finally move into their dungeon.
And there was much rejoicing… |
