"According the website ukraineindustrial.info, the Ukrainian National Guard has taken delivery of five KRAZ Shrek mine resistant ambush protected vehicle. The Shrek is 4x4 armoured vehicle jointly developed by the Ukrainian Company AutoKRaZ and Streit Group from United Arab Emirates. The Shrek is a multirole off road Mine Protected Vehicle with V-hull mounted on the KrAZ 5233 4x4 chassis cab. The KrAZ-5233 4×4 chassis cab provides a reliable and strong platform for this armored vehicle. The mine clearance version of the Shrek can be used for investigation in dangerous areas, detection and clearance of explosive devices. The hull of the Shrek provides a protection B6+/STANAG 4569 level 2, ballistic protection against 7.62 x 39 API BZ at 30 meters with 695 m/s and 6 kg (explosive mass) blastoff lan mine explosion…"

They've also just taken delivery of some old British Saxon APCs which they purchased before the conflict started. I hope to goodness they don't try using them anywhere near the front line… |

Id say whoever ends up using Saxons in the Ukraine is as lucky as those in Syria using the old UDR/RUC Shorland from Northern Ireland. Dead Lucky! |
