Thanks to the excellent vehicles on offer these days, and the fact that my son and his friends have me GM-ing a game of Star Frontiers RPG for them… Does anyone make a 15mm Vrusk-like alien? Or a Yazirian? Or a Dralasite? I know you can get the 25mm ones from way back on eBay, but I have ordered two sets and both were useless because of massive lead rot. Now I am gunshy about buying them "sealed in a box". |

Vrusk will be hard to nail down in 15mm. For Dralasites, I always thought Sons of Thunder from Rebel Minis looked like the 80s drawings of them in spacesuits. link |

Why bother with the Dralasites? Get some green stuff, mold it into a roughly humanoid shape with two holes for eyes, and maybe sketch out a rough pattern with a pin to make the blood vessels. Then just lop off a 15mm weapon or gear and glue it on once the green stuff dries. Then paint to taste! |

Yazirian = Highlander Studio Monkey Boy Mercs? Not bad, but adding the 'wings' would be interesting. Need a bit more muzzle, me thinks. Bit of a point would be nice as well, but one can add a bit of shading to the side to do that. Doug |

I had thought about using Khruasan's Felid for Yazirians instead, thought they looked more like cats to me than monkeys. And these don't look exactly but I've been eyeing them up for Sathar.

My question, "WHY!?! would you inflict such a horrible game on poor innocents?". Or at least it wasn't that other Loverly TSR sf game Cyborg Commandos….. Mongoose makes such a lovely game called Traveller…. 8-) |
