I finally got my order from Warlord today (A+ service from Warlord so far), and I'm really ed at UPS. First of all, they keep my package in customs hell for a week and only inform me after said week. This isn't really that bad, but the communications could have been much better. But most importantly is that they failed to re-seal the box after it was opened for inspections, and now I'm missing a few figures as the box is my possession. They leave a gaping hole about 10cm in the top corner of the box, and the box flap was only held down by friction. Considering the price they charge on brokerage, you would expect a resealed box right? |

You may want to take your case up with Warlord. I know it was not thier fault, however, they may want to make good on it as a customer service issue. |

I never use UPS, unless there is no other option, even the USPS is better. |

I forgot to add why I'm ed at UPS… I'm missing part of the order. Specifically the WW2 British Commando Characters. Since those are special order, I ordered from Warlord and picked up a few other things. The ironic part is that I ordered because of the Commando Bagpiper, and that blister is MIA in the box… I've already emailed Warlord about this, but I'm not expecting an answer until tomorrow. I usually chose USPS/Royal Mail/Canada Post when I can, but this was Warlord's free shipping thing, so picking the shipper wasn't my call. |

Canadians should avoid UPS like the plague. |

They leave a gaping hole about 10cm in the top corner of the box, and the box flap was only held down by friction. That doesn't sound like UPS to me, it sounds like Canadian customs. I sent a couple of eBay lots off to Canada, packed them (painted 15mm tanks) nice and tight so nothing could move without running into foam. And got complaints from the buyer about the lousy packing job. Because Canadian customs is happy to open up a box for a look inside, but if it isn't of interest to them they don't bother re-packing it. |

If UPS or FedEx are my only delivery options, I just don't order any more. Too much hassle. |

Clearly, someone at Canadian Customs was looking for a few Warlord Miniatures. |

We have never had a customer complain as we only ship USPS. Apparently, Customs doesn't either open them or if they do they are re-sealed correctly. Dave wargamingminiatures.com |

I had an issue with missing fuguresx from a Warlord boxed set. The metal minis went missing but plastics were untouched. Called and Warlord made good on the missing items from the box. Good advice earlier and worth the try. |

Very rarely do Canada customs open packages using the postal service. Seems the customs guys at UPS are bored and open just about everything. Also when mailing, unless it's a large order I've never been charged duties. With UPS seems like there is always a charge plus a 5 or 9 dollar handling fee. As I said earlier, I avoid UPS like the plague! |

A+ Service from Warlord, and they're sending a replacement for the missing figures. Hopefully all of this will end well. |

I live in Canada and anything I buy from the States I avoid UPS like the plague. I ordered a canteen once that cost $36 USD US. They shipped it via UPS and I got a customs charge of $38 USD US. Talk about rape! |

I don't order if the only cross-border shipping available is UPS, period. I'll do without rather than deal with those snakes. |

got to say:"man, you are so lucky that you still can get your package from UPS" i brought from west wind 3 months ago and ups says"your package value is over 1000 chinese yuan, you have 2 options here: 1,we send it back to uk, cost 122GBP(west wind cost 25 to sent it to me in china and UPS need 122 to send it back) 2,give up some of the goods until the total value is below 1000 chinese yuan.(which means i have to give up most of my minis, God….) i'm still working on this. never ever use UPS |

UPS combines the worst aspects of USPS and Fedex in my experience. |
