Napoleon sat in St Helena. It was 1816.
He had been writing his autobiography but couldn't think of an ending.

After a few days planning he hopped on a British Frigate disguised as a Tommy Sergeant and sailed to Dieppe.
Casting off his disguise he quickly rallied a division of troops who were too stupid to see he was a crazed maniac bent on power and destruction.
General Fonf, his old ally of ten thousand battles rallied to him as well along with some of the Old Guard and his favourite cuirassier unit.

After a few months dithering and vacillating, Britain and Prussia gathered together a Brigade and finally cornered him……..again at the Flanders village of Abbahitsingle.

It was down to General Practice and his subordinate General Slipper to capture the Bridge at Abbahitsingle. Advancing to their south was the Proosions under Von Clamps who were rumoured to be only 5 turns away!

A short game using Port and Cigars

I have to confess (and I do so in a whisper) that Napoleonics as a period holds almost no appeal for me. This game does the trick though: the figures look great, the Hexxon terrain is beautiful (just got some for Christmas myself!), the AAR is really well done, and most important, it just looks like lots of fun. And who couldn't love a game called Port and Cigars?

Magnificent stuff, Tommy, and many thanks for sharing!
