I just released my WWII rules, A Sergeant's War, in PDF form for sale here link

I have written up an in-depth AAR of one of the scenarios featured in the main rules, "Row by Row," which features a heavily reinforced platoon of American infantry trying to break through a German defensive position in the bocage. The AAR includes a detailed description of game mechanics and walks you through an entire game. I have some sample pictures and descriptions below; full description is at my blog, here link

Thanks for looking!

Main German position

US forces move up

US squad shot up

PaK 40

Sherman supporting

Americans faltering

Heavy fighting

That's a nice looking table, and minis.

Thanks for sharing your writeup, and for posting a bit here, along with the link to your blog.

So many people fail to post anything, other than just a link, and I usually can't be bothered visiting those.

I look forward to reading your AAR, and to finding out more about your rules.

I bought the rules the other day and I'm pretty excited about trying them out. A few very interesting ideas that I never would have considered

Thanks!

@Mako, I figure people come here to see wargaming pics, not links, so I'll give the people wargaming pics :)

War Panda, thanks! I hope you enjoy using the rules.

Hi,

Just got the rules and Scenario's hopefully get a chance to play them soon.

I have printed them out would be interested if they are updated what pages have been updated so I dont have to print it out again.

Looking forward to more scenario's or Campaign's.

Rich.

Richinq, thanks for the purchase!

If you just got them, you have the recent update which includes vehicle stats for the early war, as well as additional infantry platoons.

When I update the game in the future--more stats, some optional rules based on gamers' suggestions or stuff I've thought up for scenarios since the game's writing--I will do the updates through the Vault. You'll get an email from the Vault/me, announcing the update and including a message to say which parts will need printing.

My idea is to either A) work in added material such that individual pages can be printed, without throwing the rest of the book into shambles; or B) add stuff to the end to make printing easy (you'll just add the newly printed stuff to the end of your book).

Next on the table is a book of scenarios for the Eastern Front, and after that the Hurtgen Forest---so more scenario books are in development :)

Hi,

look forward to the new scenario books,

My ww2 figures are 10mm individually based.

I have read the infantry rules now reading the Armour rules.

Really like what i have read so far. easy to understand.

Did notice there is no JagdTiger , SturmTiger or Brummbar which I have models off.

But a good selection to start with.

Many Thanks

Rich.

D'oh! I'll figure up some stats for them over the weekend and add them. Will post them here for your use in the interim.

richinq25 Feb 2015 9:32 p.m. PST

Hi,

Cheers for that.

Would it be worth adding at some point a page with Markers.

Rich.

Grignotage09 Mar 2015 11:48 a.m. PST

@Richinq, I have updated the main rules with your suggestions---added in those vehicle stats and created a page of markers to print (they are very simple counters).

You should get an email from the Vault informing you of the updates.

Thanks!
