A couple of enthusiasts here in Whitley Bay have decided to start a gaming club. We are currently searching for a venue, and hope to have good news on that soon. For the moment, we exist in Facebook (link below) where we are seeking comments and support from local gamers. Our first aim is to receive commitments from around 10-15 players to make the club viable. So if you are interested and are looking for a midweek gaming venue in North Tyneside, check out the Facebook page and get involved:

Seven potential playing members on the first day of posting on Facebook! That isn't a bad start, I think. We checked out a venue yesterday and it looks very promising for Tuesday evening gaming. So, if you live in the area and want to get involved in an exciting new gaming adventure, go to the link in my previous post and get involved. We are not asking for any commitments, just interest and ideas on what local gamers might want from a new club.

Neil & Dougie,

I originally hail from Newcastle and hope to get back up there for a week or so in a couple of months time.

Once you are up and running would it be ok to drop in for a game one Tuesday?

Thanks and good luck in setting up your club,

Ezza

Hi Ezza,

I don't see any problem with that. Check us out on the Facebook link in my original post where we will post updates on the status of the club and forthcoming events.

cheers,

Neil

Good news! We have a venue for the new club in Whitley Bay (TBC). The first game night will be 10 March – this will give me a chance to sort out the admin side and nail down the fiddly bits such as a constitution, forms, fees etc. We are up to 12 potential regular players, but the more the merrier. If you are local and want to play on a Tuesday evening, check out the Facebook link or drop me an email on smithrn@juno.com.
cheers,
Neil

Just a quick update for Tyneside gamers. WB3D Gamers now has 34 members signed up to our Facebook page. We are also planning our games for the first night. The venue is excellent for our purposes and we think this will be an exciting addition to gaming in our area. Check out our Facebook page or email me on smithrn@juno.com for details.
cheers,
Neil

Up & Running! Whitley Bay 3D Gamers met for the first time on Tuesday evening. We played Wings of War, Check Your 6, Blood Bowl Team Manager, and X-Wings, and a very good time was had by all! If you are in this area, we play almost every Tuesday and you are more than welcome to come along and enjoy gaming in a great venue with a great bunch off gamers! Follow us on Facebook at link
cheers, Neil
