Printing Scenario Maps with Poster Software

You've got a scenario map, and you need to create some hills. Is there some way to just print out the map in very large scale, so you can trace the outline of the hills you need to build? The Editor finds out...

Here is the basic layout of the table. I still have some buildings to finish and other MISC items.

I've added some of the 300+ vehicles that will be used for the game to give some scale.

The vehicles are all done but I need to do a few hundred infantry still.

I'll post more pictures as things progress.

Holy crap, that's great stuff. I will definitely give this a look at Cold Wars!

That looks splendid. Excellent work.

I don't know what rules you are using but – if you're using The Crucible – have a look at this page link

If you're not using them… well, what will you be using?

John,

Thanks for the link. I do have the Crucible, although I don't feel comfortable enough to use them, at least not at this point. I will be using Modified "Tank Wreck" rules for this particular game. (That being said, I will be borrowing some of the Crucible rules to give the overall game more of a Slammer's feel)

Hopefully by the next convention I will be more familiar and comfortable with the rules.

It was actually the Crucible book that pushed me over the edge and made me give Jez all of my money. :)

It's at 7PM on Friday, (in the Distelfink room I believe.)

All participants get WNPG Dice and Old Crow 6mm miniatures.

If you need advice or any help with the Crucible angle – at any point – don't hesitate to PM or email me (the latter via the site).

Oh, my! Those nice buildings and air/spacecraft will have lots of holes in them when the powerguns start blasting!

Moe the Great03 Feb 2015 12:44 p.m. PST

95% of the buildings are from Old Crow Models, to include the StarPort, Monorail, Watercraft and Aircraft.

The roads are from Hotz Mats. All of the vehicles that I will be using are from Old Crow.

The two mats are from Monday Knight Productions.

More pictures to come tomorrow.

Here are a few hundred of the vehicles to be used.(and some infantry) I do imagine that most will be burning chunks of metal by the end of the game..

Praise from Ceaser!

The Vehicles are magnetized to the bases and can all be removed. This way I can use them with any rule set or run more then one Vehicle on a base. I also have my smoke/wreckage markers magnetized so I can just swap out a vehicle with a wreckage marker.

Play testing the game. Our local band of gamers helped play test my Cold Wars game last night and as predicted.. Stuff blew up…

Here are a few picks taken at turn three and four. Both bridges started to become bottlenecks and the Slammer's forces were having a field day putting the burning wreckage markers to good use.

Over all the game played as expected, but we did find a few tweaks to make things run better at the con. If you would like to check it out, we will be running this game Friday night in the Distelfink room.
