I painted this unit for my big Yorktown game a couple of years ago. I have meant to take a few shots of them for TMP as I was quite pleased with the outcome. They are Perry figures. As I was in the process of updating my website with all my 10mm ACW stuff, I pulled these out of hiding for a photo session. I hope you enjoy.

These are fantastic!

Did part of the legion actually carry lances? I wasn't aware that they did, but evidently your research indicates that they did.

Excellent job on them.

ACWBill01 Feb 2015 2:24 p.m. PST

Yes, they had a full company of lancers at Gloucester Point.

Breathtaking!

My Old Glory Lauzan's Legion would be reluctant to come out and play with your Perry Miniatures.

Winston Smith01 Feb 2015 3:17 p.m. PST

Fantastic.

I just came across mine today, still unpainted in the box. Now I have to get busy.

These are very nicely done.

You even bothered to create lanyards on your lancers wrists.

Impressive!

How did you make that?

ACWBill11 Feb 2015 5:39 a.m. PST

I used very thin strips of electrical tape which were wrapped around the lances and held down with super glue. Once cured, I finished wrapping around the lances and hands in order to achieve the look of lanyards. Good observation Blue Max, not too many people noticed that!
