Last weekend six players gathered for the "Pokeno Invitational", a DBA 3.0 games day. In all some 15 armies were deployed during the day providing plenty of variety.

A great line up thumbs up!

Did you feel any themes emerged about armies/balance/style etc.? As you can see here Treb put his winning streak down to dice wink

Phil,

The evidence is quite clear: if you roll much better dice than your opponent you will win.

Who'da thunk it?

Like Edison said, DBA is 10% inspiration and 90% luck.

Phil, as far as themes not those of one army or troop type being more powerful than another. Some stands create some initial challenges of course, but the real advantage of DBA is you can try different sub periods. Most of our games have been between historical matched pairs.

Perhaps one item of note is the real interest I'm seeing. A number of people are pulling armies out of storage and new people are building armies. It is very positive to see.

Excellent TWR … I hope that's a more widespread trend thumbs up!
