I just finished reading this book. While it is not a pulp novel per se, it is good inspiration for pulp scenarios in India, China and Tibet. Worth the read, but it is not something you are going to finish in a couple of hours. link |

I liked the book, showed how much humanity some men were willing to give up for their own personal goals via the nazi party. The material on Wiligut was just plain creepy too. Doc |

I enjoyed it. Sort of a spin on the Peter Hopkirk Back of Beyond genre. |

Did a couple of them visit an inn high in the Himalayas to try and get the headpiece used to find the Ark? Looks like an intriguing book. Jim |

There's also a film, Seven Years in Tibet. Haven't seen it but believe Brad Pitt plays the SS Ornithologist. link |
