Ran my first game of Die Fighting II. Here's a short blog post I wrote about it.

Made some mistakes with the game as it was our first time out but we are looking forward to trying it again.

Hmmm I am in two minds about these rules. I don't like the thought that one side struggled to manoeuvre other than the rules/dice and lost as a result of the other side just sitting there and stock piling resource dice. Doesn't sound like a fun, challenging game but instead a frustrating challenge.

Most of that falls on me for my poor scenario design and not realizing how the mechanics of the game worked the first time around. Had I provided some sort of objective for both sides other than lets meet in the middle and fight, it would have been different.
