Above is a picture of my first aviation model build since childhood, Hasegawa's Eggplane TBF Avenger.

I bought two of these, now discontinued I believe, at an airshow at the Duxford Imperial War museum, around 10-15 years ago. This build was fraught with errors on my part, and I hope to make the 2nd kit much better!

Okay, they're a bit silly, in a way. But I do think these Eggplanes are fun, and despite all my goofs, I DID have fun making this. And I learned a fair bit with all the mistakes I made.
