Hello all: I'm looking for a war memorial/fountain terrain piece in 28mm. I saw two some time ago and I thought I had bookmarked it, but I've been pulling my hair (of which I have very few) searching for it. It was on an online store. I've searched the internet to no avail. Actually there were two styles; one with two semi curved sections and the other like a plinth or a monolith (with a wreath or angel, maybe?). What I find are fountains, but none I really like, like the ones I'm looking for. I'm looking for those that are in European cities and towns have/had in the middle. Please help!!! Many Thanks |

I made one myself. I had an old SYW mounted figure I was not using. I got a hexagonal cardboard box from Michael's Craft Store that was about two inches across. Turning the top upside down gave a somewhat terraced look. With some stucco over the cardboard and a little dry brushing it looks pretty good in the town square. Using a SYW figure makes it reasonable for a statue of a Rev War hero in the US or any other famous figure in a tricorn hat in Europe. |

I did the same thing as surdu, I used a wood base that came with a 54mm figure, then mounted the figure I wanted on it with rubber cement so I could change it |
