Nice work. Viking Forge has a model of that class but not as pretty as the GHQ.

Thanks! Haven't seen a Viking Forge ship up close, but they look fairly basic. I haven't found an HMS Otranto incidentally that I like, yet.

Should have the ships done by next weekend and ready for battle!

Another option is to get one from WTJ. I have one in 1:2400 scale waiting to be painted. It is a great model.

Thanks for the links. This one is done for now. I'm rather loyal to GHQ, and will use them whenever possible. All told the conversion was maybe 3 hours? Not bad for the work needed I think. I just went for it!

Very ingenious. I approve of your "do-it-yourself" attitude to the hobby, which is often more satisfying than buying something ready-made.
