Hello all, I want to share with you some pictures of my latest work. Six ships of the Armada 1588.

The colors of the boats are based on pictures I've consulted internet.
Hope you like it!

Langton minis, I presume?

Very nicely painted!

Oh we need fire ships!!!! Very well done!!

mbsparta23 Jan 2015 9:26 a.m. PST

Beautiful models!!!

Langton doesn't do Armada hulls; the closest they have are the Anglo-Dutch ones. At first I thought maybe they are the old Valiant hulls with completely redone masts and sails. Whoever they are, they are very well done. By Napoleonic standards, those Armada ships are tiny!

Langton have a few period ships in their renaissance galleys line. Though I don't know if this is one (they are all the same hull, aren't they?), Langton has only a carrack pictured:

And they don't appear to be Valiant to me, either.

Very nice!

Hello, the ships are made with langton ships Venetian Galleon (REN16) but I've included some change… for example: the third mast, I lengthened the third mast and I included more portholes (I don't know if the terme is correct in English)

BrianW23 Jan 2015 10:48 a.m. PST

Well, OK then. I stand corrected. I still maintain that they look great.

Gunports. :)

Very nice work. BTW if anyone is curious, this model is huge compaired to the Valiant 1/1200 armada stuff. Does not mix.

HarryHotspurEsq23 Jan 2015 5:39 p.m. PST

Beautiful work there! Well done on those.

The Beast Rampant23 Jan 2015 5:52 p.m. PST

Does not mix? Boo! I'd always thought about getting some for at purpose, but having nearly nothing in the way of pics or size comparisons, my motivation level never got high enough.

Very nice Julian.
I love the sail art-work. If they are for yourself I hope to see more of your fleet. If they are for a customer, they are very lucky.
Looking good Julian
Be safe
