If you built Armor models back in the '70s you may remember these…

I sure do – I built the Flakpanzer, Panzerjaeger IV, the Sd 242 and the Sturmpanzer

Not as nice as Shep Paine, though

Thanks for posting!

I still have a book (somewhere!) called Dioramas by Shepard Paine(or real , bought it in the 70's. It has "The Gun Deck of HMS Victory at Trafalgar, 1805" I remember that one for sure! And at least one more of these:

Oh, that wakes up some very old neurons! I loved their Pz IV series, great kits for a middle-school kid like me.

I wonder why he always showed the Mark IV as knocked out?

Still got the Paine book-building dorimas or something like that. Had lots of the old Monogram kits assembled. Remember the Pz IV line (Pz Iv, Stug IV, Brumbar, Jpz IV, Ostwind , wirbilwind, ect) Built them all. It is a shame you can no longer get them. Someone was telling me the dies were destroyed in a train wreck or something like that.

Revell still makes the Panzer IV, but it isn't in current production. They do the Shermans as well. But they sure cost a whole lot more than they used to.
