I ran my first battle with my 28mm AWI figures using Guns of Liberty rules by Eric Burgess.
This was my first run at a game since starting the project, still have a good ways to go on making terrain and flushing out units.
Here is a bad cell phone photo of the 71st Highlanders forcing the bridge crossing of the creek, and accepting a telling volley delivered by Lytle's militia.

Nice job! …Forcing the crossing I mean, the subsequent volley, well that's gonna happen

Very nice. Is it Briar or Brier? Are they two different battles? I only ask because I am always on the lookout for smaller battles.

Same battle.

Could be Brier, got it out of a scenario book I bought on ebay.

There are a number of alternate spellings, all referring to the same battle.
