Looking for a model maker who can build some 28mm ACW skirmish scale buildings based on historical photos. Suggestions? Recommendations? |

Herb Gundt is the best and he is based in South Bend, Indiana.
In the picture above, the stone house is Clivedon from the Battle of Germantown. The building on the right with the dormers is modeled after one of the taverns in Colonial Williamsburg. The clabbord house with the porch is a typical ACW era home that Herb made for my old Gettysburg project. Herb also made the Lutheran Seminary, Meade's HQ and Lee & Gordon's Mill for Chickamauga, amont others. Herb is a pleasure to work with. He is very good at copying any historical picture that you can provide and can conceptualize almost any idea that you give him. |

Not that it sounds like I need to, but I would also recommend Herb. You don't contact him, he contacts you! |
