Looks great!

But I am not sure about the 'log road'. I think that would be very difficult for both animals and men to walk on. And wheeled vehicles would surely get shaken about so much that either they or their cargoes would sustain damage? And when it got wet and muddy….have you ever tried walking on wet wood?

A corduroyed road was used in many places and times, being simple to make and maintain. If fact, US Grant used corduroying in places as he made his march down the Louisiana side of the Mississippi River in the Spring of 1864.
