We are excited to announce that GM event registration for 2015 is now open on our website at:

cincycon.org/gmRegister.cfm

Remember all GMs get a FREE weekend badge, two raffle tickets, and a 2015 limited pig adventure figure.

Please get your games in as soon as possible. Our new website post them to the public as they are entered which enables the general attendees to see them. The sooner you get them listed the greater chances for attendee participation.

GM registration will be open until Saturday April 9th at midnight.

General Attendee Registration will be opening in the next week or two. A great new feature on our site is the ability for anyone that is a GM or a pre-registered attendee to reserve a playing spot in listed events.

Please come join us for Cincycon VI

Not at The Atrium any more? I liked that site, too bad.

I gotta be honest, when I hear that cons are in places like this I think "big, noisy, drafty barn."

Can you put my fears to rest?

If so I'm good for a weekend's worth of games!

Hey Extra Crispy,

We also liked the Atrium. It met most of our needs however, they had a property tax issue that was not resolved in time for us to be able to sign a contract and still have time to promote a spring date.

So we have upgraded facilities and we actually spent a fair amount more money booking this brand new 3 million dollar multi purpose building at the Fair Grounds. As a bonus we have booked a much nicer hotel for our out of town guest:)

As a group we have always tried to address all concerns or issues for our convention. Which I think you will agree we have done a pretty good job so far:) We were concerned about noise starting last year at the Atrium in the large room. So we had 4 very large fleece blankets with our logo manufactured and then hung from the rafters in the large room to help break the noise movement in the room. It seamed to help:) Place was really rocking on Saturday!

We have done some noise testing during our visits at the new location and we are surprised at how it does not seam to be an issue. They have an insulation that curves all over the ceiling and it seams to either absorb or deflect the noise. Now as an extra precaution we are adding 4 new fleece blankets with this years logo to our inventory and we will again be hanging 4 of these noise abating banners in each of our 2 rooms. We figure it can only help and they dress the place up some:)

Mark, your games area always well received and I am sure all the locals would love to see you so please come and join us in May:)

Done!

Ah, Red River, that should be fun, G Dog. Need anything from me for the game? Should I register as a player, or would you like me to assist GMing?

Okay so you're in the new building? Wasn't sure. The pics on their site showed a barn more suited to a rodeo.

I'll check with the wife but should be good. As with last time I'd like to get one table for the weekend so I can run a bunch of games with minimal set up / teardown….

Crispy – will you be there as a vendor as well?

You're welcome to play or assist with GM'ing depending on how many players sign up.

And yes, I've got plenty of Caproni for your Wings of Glory game.

OK,

I don't know what calender I was looking at but I need to make a slight correction on above announcement. At our Board of Directors meeting last night we looked up and then corrected some dates.

We will be closing GM pre-registration on Saturday April 11th at midnight.

We will be closing Attendee pre-registration Saturday April 18th at midnight.

Please keep sending those games in:) Attendee registration will be opening soon:)
