I see both renegade and great war miniatures, have early and lste war germans and British. But french are only early war or 1914. Is this just lack of production, or can early french be used as late.

Are you looking for late war French in Adrian helmets? Brigade Games has a bunch…

Definitely not suitable for late war.

Brigade Games might be the best match if you're looking to do French for 1916-18.

seeing you live in Europe maybe these may be a better choice forgottenglorious.blogspot.fr Those Brigade figs seem expensive!

Old Glory has late war French in 25/28mm

Early war French wore essentially FPW uniforms, dark blue coats, kepis and bright red trousers(!). Late war French wore horizon blue uniforms and steel helmets, so no, they aren't interchangeable.

Hi gunfreak, check out scarab miniatures for late war French. They have a good range with nice little additions such as communication team, high command etc. You could also try nick at northstar figures who I got my brigade games late war French from.

Cheers

Foundry also has late war French. They have the single breasted greatcoat so they're a bit better for mid-war -- although I'm not sure anybody is that particular. ;-)

How much is Foundry shipping? It was even for UK very expensive.
