These figures started life ages ago but I've only just got round to basing them, I've still got 5more to go but the conversion time is pretty consuming so they may take a while longer to complete. Well they started life as Victrix napoleonics but abit of greenstuff and warlord soviet spare parts and here's the end result

So thanks for looking cheers for now Russ

Fantastic work, it's brilliant that these began life as Napoleonic figures! They really look the part!

Most excellent work, Russ. Not as good as Hauptmann Pfefferkorn, in my not so humble opinion. But super just the same. I do kinda wonder about the officer. I'm sure he was going for something like a more dignified look. But he rather missed the target. But that just adds even more character…
braken strikes again!

Thanks guys
Abwehrschlacht my Soviets are kind of my passion "depends if soviet storm is on TV or not" no but seriously they pale into comparison against your collection! I seem to duck and dive to much to really get to serious about any single project. To quote my Wife I've a butterfly mind when it comes to our hobby. I will say this Boredom will never get me!

79thPA thank you also, the other 5 hopefully won't take as long, but I see Warlord now have Russians in winter kit on pre order, hopefully it wont distract me and I will still get mine finished.

Combatpainter, I'm just a sucker for plastics. Converting and kit bashing is so easy and at times very addictive!!

Robby, thank you also. Hope Hauptmann Pfefferkorn is doing his part to be remembered as a hero, and all round good officer who is loved by his men who would blindly follow him to death or glory! ok as long as he gets his round in at the strudel shop he is living up to expectations. I based my soviet officer on a photo I saw somewhere, although in the photo he did have on a fur cap, but Hey he's got Character, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Least he will look the part when he's blind folded and being shot for another resounding failure.

Thanks for the comments guys
cheers for now Russ
