Drawn by Neal Adams and inked by Dick Giordano. Oh, sorry… At this point in my life, he sounds like Kevin Conroy. |

So far I'd go with Christian Bale. The new Batman was terrible in Daredevil, but everything about Daredevil was terrible so I'll give him the benefit of doubt. Plus Affleck was good in Argo. |

OMG…this question is one of my best intoxicated memories of ORIGINS from a few years ago . My vote is Christian Bale….and NOT George Clooney….. |

Adam West, who I met in costume when I was about 8 back in the 60s. He was at a new car dealer grand opening in Raleigh and even had the Bat Mobile with him. The formative geek experience of my young life. All the rest are like Santa's Helpers. ;-) |

I had an experience very much like LostPict. So for me it's Adam West all the way. The others are just pale imitations… |

It will always be Adam West! |

A tie between Adam West and Michael Keaton. |

Michael Keaton by far. Part of the reason is that I like Tim Burton and the feel his films have, and an Elfman score doesn't hurt, but it is mainly because Keaton is such a fine actor. I've always felt he is one of the most underrated actors in the industry. Nicholson as the Joker and DeVito as the Penguin are also superb! This is probably due to age more than anything, but the Bale films are too edgy and fast moving for me, and I actually find CB to be rather weak; he tries to put on a husky voice that never really works for me. |

Kevin Conroy is the voice of Batman/Wayne. Also, Daredevil was a decent enough action movie IMO. |

I had *exactly* the same experience as LostPict, in Raleigh. Small world! I'll go with Keaton, too. |

I am also with the group that ties Keaton (Movies) West (TV)and Conroy (Animated). But if I had to nail down one, it would be Adam West. |

I'm with Saginaw on this one. Michael Keaton and Adam West in a tie. I still think Keaton's first film as Batman was the best Batman movie ever made. |

Adam West, if for no other reason that he *IS* Batman, weather we like it or not. |

Keaton in the first film is tops for me. Followed by Batman from the Animated series ( Conroy). Not surprising since it is heavily influenced by the Keaton/Burton Batman version of the Batman universe but gloriously streamline moderne in style. Maybe it's a generational thing, but for me, Adam West isn't even in the running. As long as I've been aware of him, Batman has been a darker experience and West is just too camp to take seriously. As for Nolan, I feel the films were a bit uneven, though perhaps I haven't got enough distance from them yet to give a real good comparison. |

Adam West (although that fantastic David Jason clip has made me doubt my once unbreakable allegiance). |

One vote for Keaton. I remember how disappointed I was when it was announced that he got the role. I also remember how surprised and pleased I was at how well he played it. Hope the same plays out for Affleck. I'm not too optimistic but we'll see. |

Michael Keaton Christian Bale I recall how skeptical everyone was about Michael Keaton being cast in the role. Bu the did it, and he was great. I think part of it for me is not so much "who" played Batman, but that after the first film and before the reboot films with Christian Bale, the movies were in general, pretty bad. As for Catwoman, Michelle Pfeifer was fabulously sexy and Halle Berry was Phoenix in July hot, but I think Anne Hathaway put together a nice blend of beauty, sexy, with an interesting wrinkle on the character. They are all great. But I'd have to say that Anne Hathaway gets the edge partly because I liked Darknight Rises more than Batman Returns or Catwoman. |

I'll be the black sheep and go with Val Kilmer for live action but Conroy for voice acting. Michael Keaton was awful in my opinion--I never understood that choice. I think Ben will stink it up like he usually does. |

Conroy,Keaton,West-never watched modern trilogy, so I don't know how Bale did. |
