The Baron in the USA has played his first game with my new rules, and has posted an account on his blog. link Interestingly, he played the game which I designed to be run using playing cards, without using any playing cards at all! All very interesting. Cheers, Simon

Thanks chaps! There are essentially three ways to play. The first is the playing cards that I tend to use with the game. I don't mind these being on the table, and they are tidied away at the end of each turn so there is a window of card-less tranquility. The second is to use dice, rolling D10 to activate units, and to record previous activations. This is very practical, although it might require a couple of dozen D10s. The third and final options is to use chits drawn from a cup. I tried these out last week in the below game, and they worked very well; they work pretty much as well as cards, whilst being less obtrusive, like the dice.
