Hu-Rah!

I notice you are ensuring you don't shuffle off just yet by not entirely finishing the basing before you have restarted the lead pile… I assume that is deliberate…

Maddaz11116 Jan 2015 2:58 p.m. PST

And again it is an amazing display…

jeffreyw316 Jan 2015 3:00 p.m. PST

Nice! How long did that take you, all told?

@Maddaz, I had the same worry when I saw the thread title, but interpreted that "a" lead pile, not "the" lead pile, was at zero, so hopefully there are more lead piles to save himself with.

Awe inspiring

Well, thanks for wishing me more piles, especially as that particular pile took a while to get rid of, but the SYW is an ongoing project of more than one army, interspersed with other projects.

As a rule of thumb, for painting pace, this much (see below) takes two and a half years at full pelt

The Punic Wars was a start to finish project with just odds and sods on the side to keep the end of my brush sharp, so to speak. That was 2120 men not inculding beasts or machines.

Beautiful work! Lead pile at zero? Isn't that illegal? I told my wife it was.

You tell your wife a lot of things, Red. Some of them are even true.

That is a really impressive army. I must look away lest my latent SYW tendencies be inflamed.

I don't think I have ever seen such large Russian army before!

Really nice touch to have the bombardiers in such prominent place within your army!!!
