With an emphasis given to the Herero War/Revolt, I have launched a new blog on my forays into German colonial gaming. I'll be gaming the Herero campaign using 15mm figures (thank you, Mr. Roy Jones, for giving me good advice on what to use). I may branch out into the Abushiri/Wissmanntruppe/Bagamoyo some day (East Africa), but for now, Sudwest Afrika it is! Take a look, become a follower, leave (kind) comments! link |

If you do eventually branch out into Deutsch-Ostafrika you could take a look at the Maji Maji Rebellion of 1905-08, described as one of the largest African rebellions against European colonisation. A couple of articles for background: Wiki entry: link Journal of African History: PDF link Ezza |

It's a new blog and a new project so you haven't really missed much of anything. I have a list of what figures I will be using on the Figures page of the blog, which can be found here: link |

Amazing how many gaming blogs there are covering just about every historical conflict and period. |
