Hi Guys and Gals, Here's my attempt at sculpting a poshteen on a Studio Miniatures British Officer: There are many more pics on my Shooting Leave (Late Victorian Warfare) Blog: link Please feel free to have a general gander around the blog. It's still in it's infancy but may well be of interest to you: allthebrave.blogspot.co.uk Here's a taster:

Ummm, all the poshteens that I have seen are meant to be worn skin side out, with the leather embroidered either in multi colours or monochrome. Fur side in is much warmer, there is just a border of fur (goat hair usually, but winter wolf is nice too) sticking out at the sleeve ends, front and the side vents. |

BSLEE: Ummm, all the poshteens that I have seen are meant to be worn skin side out If you take a look at my blog and see the rest of the pictures you will see that it is in fact worn skin side up :>) BSLEE: Fur side in is much warmer, there is just a border of fur (goat hair usually, but winter wolf is nice too) sticking out at the sleeve ends, front and the side vents. Thanks, I knew about goats skin but was unaware of wolf skin being used. Should make a nice colourful addition to the officer's attire. Darrell. |

This chap is now undercoated and awaiting a lick of paint along with his compatriot. I'll post up pics as soon as they're both done….. Darrell. |
