Hey guys, just wondering if there are any active clubs in East/Northeast Connecticut who play BA, CoC, or anything like that? Time Machine Hobby is an hour from me and is pretty much exclusively FoW, Magic, and 40K. The Hobby Bunker is like two hours from me so hard to get to regularly.

I've got a growing 28mm German/US collection and I REALLY enjoy building and painting them but I have no one to play games with so the motivation and enjoyment is dwindling. I can occasionally get a friend over but I have to supply all the models and terrain. Just looking for a semi active/active club who plays 28mm skirmish in the area. The rules aren't a big deal I'm just tired of having minis and never getting a chance to use them besides HAVOC and Ellis Con.

So, who's out there? If it helps any I live in Windham County, CT.

Try the HAGS group on Yahoo, there are members east of the river, and I think a store in Danielson that at least is willing to host games. You just missed EllisCon, a small but long lived convention ou that way.

I know you don't care for the drive but Time Machine may be running a big event this Saturday. It may be a good way to meet like minded people closer to Windham.

I go to Ellis Con every year, I was president of the student club who puts it on while I was in High School. I will also be at the event at The Time Machine helping a friend run a big ass CD4 game. The store you're referring to is the Steampunk Cafe, I used to run my DnD group there, nice little cafe. I suppose I could creep around TM on the off time before and after the game and see if anyone is interested. Thanks guys.

Ethan,

Our group, Old Colony Wargamers, meets Thursday evenings at my place in Hudson, MA. Probably a good hour and a half from you. We're right off 495. We're just starting out Chain of Command in 20mm and 28mm. Our web page has our current schedule.
