Hi everyone! Portal Con is this coming weekend!. Free and open to the public. Sat Jan 17th at 9am We have the following miniature games-the gamemasters will provide the pieces, set up the scenario and teach the rules: All Quiet Martian Front (4 players), All the Kings Men-ACW (6p), Napoleon at War 15mm (6), Kyromek Sci-Fi Skirmish (6). Flames of War mega battle (6) At 11am Europe in Peril 1/72 scale Command Decision (14p) At 2pm: Bolt Action- Normandy 1/72 Scale (6 players), Brothers at War-ACW (6p), Luftwaffe 1946 Air combat (4+P) Malifaux (6), Space Hulk Tournament (8 players-bring a digital timer) 7 pm Living card games-Game of Thrones/Netrunner/Star Wars/LOTR, Star Trek -Attack Wing. Sunday events include: 9am Netrunner, D&D Icons 11am will feature Zulus! using Black powder rules. 1pm Settlers of Catan Tournament , 2pm Marvel Dice Masters, Malifaux miniature skirmish, Pathfinder RPG events both days- more to be announced! Magic the Gathering both days. Confirmed boardgames events on Sat: 9am Axis & Allies 1914, Lasers and Feelings 2pm Memoir'44 7pm Dread Curse The Portal at Timemachine Hobby, 60 Hilliard St, Manchester, Ct 06042 860-432-0711 860-646-0610(main building). Portal Con Update: Saturday additions: Designer Larry Bogucki will run his excellent War Party (lock n Load) 4 player game at 7pm. Designer Jeff Glickman will demo R&R Games AttrAction starting at 6:15pm. Bolt Action Normandy is cancelled due to a broken ankle. On Sunday at 2pm Close Action Age of Sail 1812 game will be offered for 8 players. The Axis & Allies game on sat will be the global version (Europe and Pacific) not 1914 |
