As our club's opening game of 2015 we did a refight of Zorndorf, using 'Maurice'. And very good fun it was too. link |

Hi Alan, Great report. Yep, a hole in the middle is only good for doughnuts. I love this battle and it's good to see it played with troops that allow the full depth of deployment to be used. I've done it in 28mm and you have to start the battle with the Prussians already having advanced beyond their artillery lines, emerging as it were, through the smoke of the preliminary barrage – though I've only ever played it with historic deployments – here was my set up over Christmas and New Year (it was my first game of 2015 too). link |
